Built Around the Measurement Duty

A jetty or pipeline metering package must connect accurate measurement with the actual transfer operation. MDOW coordinates the primary instrumentation, flow computer, valves, piping, structural arrangement and data interfaces as one modular system.

Coriolis mass-flow measurement for transferred quantity and density.
Flow-computer integration for calculation, records and communication.
Pressure and temperature instrumentation for operating visibility.
Optional regulating valve for controlled transfer conditions.
Skid piping and layout engineered around the terminal interface.
Master-meter provisions for traceable working-meter verification.

One Skid for Both Transfer Directions

A reference European LPG terminal required custody-transfer measurement for both ship loading and ship unloading within a restricted existing footprint. The solution used a common air eliminator, two parallel full-capacity 10-inch metering streams and a complete 100% bypass.

Bidirectional OperationValving and calculation logic arranged for both transfer directions.
Prover ConnectionsVerification connections provided for duty and standby meters.
Panel-Mounted Flow ComputerCentralized transaction calculation, control and records.
Common Air EliminatorShared upstream conditioning for stable liquid measurement.
Compact FootprintArrangement optimized for an existing constrained terminal area.

Configuration details above describe the reference LPG project presented in the supplied Endress+Hauser material.

Master Meter Solution

Verify Working Meters Without a Large Prover

A master-meter skid provides a compact reference for field verification. The reference meter is factory calibrated with liquid and can be arranged as a fixed installation or a mobile trailer package.

Designed for Traceable Verification

The supplied solution material identifies internationally recognized references for master-meter verification and marine fuel measurement. Final applicable standards, uncertainty targets and verification procedures are confirmed for each project.

Flexible Deployment

Fixed Skid or Mobile Verification Package

A master-meter system can support marine terminals, fuel transfer, chemical plants, pipelines, refineries, oilfields, LACT systems and truck or rail loading. Packaging is selected around access, connection, verification frequency and site operating constraints.

Reference Application

Marine Bunkering Measurement

The supplied presentation highlights a Singapore marine-fuel mass-flow-meter application in which the master-meter approach supported more than 100 working-meter verifications. The example demonstrates how a compact reference system can reduce field time and simplify coordination among operators and oversight organizations.

Beyond a Single Skid

A large East African port project in the supplied reference material shows how flow metering expands into a complete terminal system: multiple liquid metering skids, proving equipment, control rooms, pigging facilities and product-recovery systems coordinated across several ports.

Quantities describe the documented Tanzania reference project and are presented as evidence of system-integration scale, not as a standard package configuration.

Gas & LNG Custody Transfer

High-Pressure Pipeline Metering

For LNG import terminals and compressor stations, the measurement platform extends from liquid Coriolis systems to multi-stream ultrasonic gas metering. The reference systems combine Endress+Hauser SICK FLOWSIC600 meters with gas-quality analysis, flow computing, supervisory functions and PLC control.

Terminal Mass Balance

Connect Every Transfer Point

Reliable inventory control depends on consistent measurement across the terminal. Jetty and pipeline transfer, tank gauging, and truck or rail loading data can be coordinated to compare physical stock movement with recorded loading operations.
